"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." ~ Lao Tzu
At times when my inner doubt starts to rise - I quiet them with this quote.
Building a life you love takes acts of intention. I'm not talking about a whole life overhaul. Taking small steps that you build upon, will create life-altering changes, leading to the life you can't wait to get home to.
Here are a few of my favorite small steps:
1. Wake up early.
According to many successful people (CEOs & celebs alike), this simple step will keep you happy and healthy - But here's what you should know.
Waking up early is NOT a magic happy/healthy pill that will solve your time-management & productivity problems.
The trick is finding a routine that fits your life. Early to me, may not be early to you - Productive to me, may not be productive to you - Happy to me, may not be happy to you. So, figuring out a wake-up strategy that’s right for you is key. Whatever that looks like - Make it a habit and that's where the magic lies.
2. Set goals.
multiple studies show that setting goals is proven to create a sense of purpose & meaning. If you are longing for more purpose and meaning in your life - set some goals. My favorite thing to do is write them down (journal about them) & expand as much as you can on each goal. Seek help in achieving them if needed.
3. Plan your day.
It is so easy (especially as a busy mom) to run from one demand to the next with no real road map to a productive day. Have you ever felt like you did a lot of "nothing" all day? How can that be? you didn't even sit for 5 minutes. Experiment with planning your day to see if it helps.
4. Be authentic.
I can not stress this enough. Show up as YOURSELF. EVERY DAY. ALL-DAY!
It doesn't matter how many people you please if you are not true and authentic to yourself.
5. Seek inspiration.
I seek inspiration daily. On all levels, inspiration awakens us to new possibilities. Empowering us to rise to new levels of how we perceive our own abilities.

2. Ask for help when needed. We all need help at times - there’s no shame in that
3. Build a tribe who value support, loyalty and empowerment
4. Be intentional with your days. Creating moments that truly bring you warm memories
5. Show up authentically. Love yourself fully - without judgement.
